Damn, Meryl making it with Oliver did it for me.

This woman was my gay awakening. My bff and I secretly rented in Bridges of Madison County in our homophobic suburb (you could not say that homosexuality was not a disease in high school in 2005 in our fucking county).

I haven't liked a role of hers since the Hours/ Adaptation/DVP bc she's been a ham to me since, although her line delivery of "is anyone supposed to smoke?" in August: Osage County is hilarious.

And her being bffs with W (satan) to advance her career to quash other women, I can't like her but I kinda hate myself for still finding her attractive.

Oh yeah, good episode! 😆

I dropped out with the season 2 promos, is it worth coming back? Is the cringe worthwhile?

i'd say watch up to season 2 episode 3 and if you still arent into it, drop it. episode 3 is what made me decide to stick with it and it was worth it.

Be prepared for a few annoying cameos in the first third of the 2nd season. It's slightly cringey but I just love the world and vibe so much that I could see past it and still enjoy myself.

The Jerk is on Netflix and it was just as crazy as I remember. No way in hell could they make that movie today, lol. I love Steve Martin.

I really loved the lullaby! Looked it up after and it was co-written by Sara Bareilles which makes perfect sense.
