2x10: Hegemony When the U.S.S. Enterprise investigates an attack on a colony at the edge of Federation space, Captain Pike and his crew face the return of a formidable enemy.
I loved it so much. I hate waiting for part 2. This is worse than Best of Both Worlds. It was so well done. I was stressed out. The Gorn are great villains. Mysterious and scary looking but clearly there's more going on than we know which is fascinating.
I can't wait until we see how they all get out of this. It's a wonderful set up for next season. I still don't care about Marie. (I did learn her name) It was very clear with how the episode started that she was doomed. It would be nice if she lived because I hate seeing a woman fridged for a man. I just don't think they have chemistry.
Poor Erica just wanted to be a part of a landing party. Luckily she's tough as nails so I'm not worried about her.
The surprise character was delightful. I do hope they don't use them too much in the future. I feel like they've used Kirk too much this season.
Overall this season was excellent. The writing is top notch, the actors lean into the weird which makes it fun. One complaint; not enough T'Pring. I love her. She is wonderful and I wanted to see her at least one more time.
