torrents are harder because if you don't get in through a waitlist, then you have to rely on someone else to give you a code. and then once you receive the code, you have to be very sure that you don't break any rules or else you'll ruin it for everyone (because you'll get banned, the owner gets banned, and everyone else they provide a code to gets banned).

and then even if you follow all the rules, you probably need to install a VPN so that your internet provider doesn't come after you

sites aren't the greatest but they work for the absolute majority

oh really??? wow..I must have been doing something totally different. the oned I tried to use, you didn't need to be on a waitlist for. I just don't remember what they were called because I didn't understand it. I also used soulseek back in the day, but you risked a ton of viruses and the some users would block you if you didn't share files.

i'm sure you weren't doing anything different. torrents have changed a lot due to copyright crackdowns and now they basically exist in the shadows.

I never really learned to torrent but I'm open to doing it now. I'm not even a Gen Zer, I'm a Millenial. I dunno how I didn't pick up this skill.

Just be careful and hide your IP. Obviously it depends on the country but my cousin had to pay a fine for downloading and therefore simultaneously sharing an episode of The Walkikg Dead and Modern Family for exactly 26 seconds in Germany lol
