Yup. Truly feel he is the best "actor" of them all though he is no longer the most mainstream.

Andrew is in more big name movies now but Robert has really showed his range and talent since leaving Twilight.

I didn't even watch the twilight movies but have seen him in several others and thought he was a standout.

Pattinson has more range and he's an expert at both accents and body work. He's never used his own voice/accent in any film and he develops a walk and body movements for every character. In The Batman he has three different walks as Batman, Bruce Wayne and the Drifter character.

The only thing he lacks is an aggressive PR team hyping him up in the media all the time and the thirst for only taking Oscar bait movies.

Filmmakers seem to find him inspiring, since The Batman, The Lighthouse, Good Time and High Life were all written specifically for him.

The lighthouses was written for him?!?! They were both so amazing in that movie but I thought it was more Dafoe's movie than his

It was written for him. Eggers offered him Nosferatu back in 2016 and he turned it down, saying it wasn't weird enough. He really wanted to work with Eggers but not on a vampire movie. Eggers went home and talked to his brother that night and they began working on The Lighthouse.

When it was done, he gave it to Pattinson and said, "If this isn't weird enough, I don't know what would be." It was weird enough. Then Eggers contacted Williem Dafoe, who accepted as soon as he heard Pattinson was starring. They talked about this at Cannes when the film premiered.

I think Andrew is the strongest actor of the bunch by far, too. Pattinson isn’t as naturally talented imo, but he’s grown a lot, is charming as hell, and his career is the stuff of legend imo. I still can’t believe he got Batman.

I have to take issue with the "naturally" talented part. Pattinson is literally the most naturally talented. Unlike Andrew, he didn't go to a prestigious acting school, he's a natural. He's better at accents and voice work as well. He has more range than Andrew.

Pattinson's been playing classical piano since he was 5 years old, and guitar since 12. He's composed and sung songs on three soundtracks for his films, and is good enough as a professional musician to make a living at it.

You always do this in Pattinson posts, and to be quite frank, it’s a little irritating. I am a fan and am well aware of his resume. My opinion is that Garfield is the more naturally gifted actor between the two, and that is OK!

I guess there are always people in these posts who don't know what the word "naturally" means then. One of these actors was born with the ability to do voices and accents, play multiple instruments by ear, sing and compose music and act.

The other one is Andrew Garfield. He had to go to school to learn how to do those things, they were not a "natural" gift, and he still can't accomplish all of them.

You're welcome to prefer Garfield all you want, that's your opinion but words have meaning and he's not more naturally gifted. He's also three years older and eager to work with a POS like M Gibson because he thought he'd get an Oscar nom out of it.

I think Garfield is more natural on screen than Pattinson, and while I find it annoying that you’re being pedantic and patronizing in your attempts to present your opposing POV as fact and shove it down my throat-I don’t actually give a fuck that you don’t agree with me. It’s really not that serious.
