yeah, the majority of the popular actors in the Uk are, which I imagine its necessary to have a family that supports you when trying to get movie roles, it can be a long period without jobs

Pattinson has been self-supporting since he did Harry Potter 4 in 2005. As soon as he got paid for that, his dad told him he would be paying his own bills and he moved out of Barnes as soon as he finished school and did not attend a prestigious acting school like the rest of them. He is the youngest and the least advantaged of that group.
