I’ve been working remotely for 3 years. If possible I am never going back in person.
Everyone I talk to feels the same.

I only looked for remote jobs when I was hunting this year and the competition was FIERCE. At a senior level! Everyone is truly over the office and these companies have no idea the level of talent they are missing out on by stubbornly sticking to in-person.

this is my fear, that we all will want to work remote so the competition for jobs will be intense

Same. Also, I can't because I moved more than 800km from the offices.

Same. If they ever try to make me come back more than 1 day a week I am looking for a new job. Nothing I do needs to be done in the office.

Damn, that’s great! What do you do, if you don’t mind me asking?

I'm in customer support for a small tech company. When they started they never had an office so I guess it's a little different in that sense. Most employees are software engineers so they always had their own setup and it's not like they needed to work in teams in person.

Oh dang, I really need to pivot to tech instead of teaching.

Same. My entire team gets more done while working remotely, although a few people take advantage of this. I find it 10x easier to be productive at home.

I only go in once a month to see my team. I consider it a "dead" day anyway.
