God, my heart broke listening to her. What a powerful testimony - like, I don’t think I could have sounded that eloquent discussing that experience, even with cuts. She deserves to be heard and acknowledged. I hope she’s able to have the best sleep after getting that off her spirit.

Her last part about not trusting messengers is so real. I’ve always been an active skeptic when it comes to online messengers, especially after the rise of Instagram, but it was harder to learn when it happened in my professional life. People are too happy to ignore someone’s actions against as long as the words or images make them feel good, though. Lizzo’s doxxing incident is a great example of that.
