She's not wrong. This would be a very interesting legal precedent. Previously, the law is not always on the side of cult victims.

Afaik, the Feds did not sue him.

He and the church were sued in federal court by some former Scientologists. And a Florida court has already said they can't tread on Scientology's "religious" rights by ignoring the "contracts" the victims signed with the Church agreeing to settle all disputes within the Church. Thus the accusers will have to enter Scientology's own arbitration courts. A decision which I am sure they are appealing etc etc. But yeah, he's still winning by court fuckery thus far.
