This past weekend, Shakira’s ex went to a club in Madrid to celebrate the finals of the king's league, when he took to the stage to give a speech, the audience trolled him by chanting over and over the name of Shakira and booing him, making him unable to speak, when the audience finally calmed down and he was about to start his speech, the DJ played Waka Waka, a request from Iker casillas, Piqué’s former team mate, supposedly to commemorate Spain winning the world cup.
He ultimately chimed in to say: “I don’t care, I’m a world champion and all of you are nothing”.
This after Manuel Turizo sang “copa vacía”, his latest single in collaboration with Shakira, at the finals main event, and after Spanish media has reported that he pays venues and businesses that he and Clara Chía attend, so they don’t play any Shakira song while they’re present.
