You can tell because his mom made him wear the hat in case it gets cold, and probably said "it even matches the pink in the costume...yes that's pink. Plenty of boys wear pink, especially for Halloween. What do you mean, brown?.....that's pink. WAIT, colour is that scarf? brown!? Are you colourblind?! **yells upstairs** Oh my god, JD, OUR SON IS COLOURBLIND!!!"
So the weed deffo hit.
My pal got some at a Baltimore dispensary and even though they are nowhere as remotely fresh or good as a PNW dispensary, they did light me up on the way out, which was nice.
God I gotta say my friend has the worst joint etiquette; it's all soggy. The lesbian blunt rotation at the lez music event I'm going to in September would NEVER.
Also, I'm hiding how APPALLED I am by his lifestyle choices.

His bathroom is revoltingly dirty and there are NO products there. Mine is out of space bc it's all full, but his? Nada.
Not even a wash-cloth or a scrub glove! EW!! And he's always wondering why women won't date him. And he knows I've been having trouble finding a book club or kickball league
He IS 36 YEARS OLD, and he JUST moved out on his own for the first time since we were in college together (he's in Baltimore, so not Brooklyn/LA/DC prices by a long shot and his job history has been a mess despite not being disabled visibly or invisibly).
He has a working washer and dryer in the house but his MOM DOES HIS LAUNDRY. He doesn't cook at all and hates grocery shopping. His parents bought him his car and it's really fucking nice - and he doesn't pay any insurance on it, he doesn't pay for his phone OR his phone bill, or his wifi/internet.
They bought his laptop, buy his gas, etc and he has a full-time job in tech but he's been largely unemployed since college bc he's always had stable housing with them and he was ~in a band with other rich unemployed trust funders, except for one, who grew up poor with alcoholic parents. He'd randomly drop horror stories similar to that of my friend Kate who grew up with alcoholic parents too.
But the band broke up bc of the dumbest shit from what I remember (his terrible communication was a reason) but his ex-bandmates and him stayed friends, and while he stayed stuck but got older, his bandmates all moved on to grad school, got GFs/married (my friend has never had a serious GF) and moved to bigger cities and built lives with jobs and stable housing. He wants to move to Chicago for 14 years bc that's where his brother is and some friends are, but he has never made any moves. He sees a therapist but she sucks IMO bc she shames him for his political beliefs, which is lame (she's a neolib, the worst) instead of exploring his obsessive concerns.
My friend's parents sound rough but he's also a pretty bad friend and people are always asking me why I'm friends with him, and I am asking myself too tbh. It's not so much that he does bad stuff it's that he doesn't do things that are crucial to a great friendship for me.
What burns is that he has a book club, was in a kickball club that he left bc his political views upset a guy there, but he knows I've been having trouble finding events and clubs to join in B-more and he won't help me or invite me even though I help and invite him.
He's really selfish, which is what I hate. He never actually asks how I am and means it, which is the opposite of what my best friend does and the opposite of what I do. I'm from Russia - if I ask you how you are, it's not a passing greeting; I actually want to know.
Anyways, that's my high thesis of complaining.
