July 25, 2023 source 2 Academy Award Winner Jessica Chastain tweeted (x-ed?) her support for the striking actors while acknowledging that she is in a privileged position and that she is fighting for those actor who are not.
She also told Indiwire that she won't attend the Emmys (she is nominated for George & Tammy) and the fall festivals (she is in the new Michel Franco movie) if the strike contiunes

The industry has been so separated in terms of who is able to make a living and who isn’t. This can’t continue anymore. My heart breaks.”
"It’s sad. I have been attached to ‘George & Tammy’ for over 10 years. We all want, with Georgette Jones, to celebrate Tammy Wynette. I’m not going to be able to talk about it anymore, or ask people to watch the show. That sacrifice is nothing compared to the sacrifices of others, who have financial difficulties during the strike.”
