Reckless driving makes me so mad and it's just gotten worse. I see people just straight up driving on the shoulder now for long stretches of time.

it makes me INFURIATED because its just so avoidable. highways are not video games, you absolute idiots. and of course they won't personally be killed but the chaos they create around them will end up getting someone innocent killed.

A woman who does story time at a local library just died at a bus stop from a car that flipped over. Driver walked away and she left behind a husband and two little girls.

I’m sick of drivers tbh. You don’t have to get everywhere as fast as humanly possible. Plan ahead, give yourself enough time, accept that traffic is a part of life!

man, i am so sorry to that woman's family. i was once a road-rager. then i realized i was maybe getting somewhere 5 minutes faster with all the strife of weaving through traffic and getting angry. now i turn on lofi girl and cruise control, and just breathe. it's a better process entirely, and i feel less worried about traveling around in a tin can on wheels.

I've seen SO many people pass in the shoulder on my commute across 195 every day. It's insanity.

I had this happen on the NJ Turnpike years ago. We had run out of gas and were waiting for the tow truck and my husband saw a car coming up behind us on the shoulder going full speed. Fortunately they saw us and got over but jesus people. Actually he technically wasn't my husband yet--we were driving up a few days ahead of our wedding. Would have been a really fucking tragic story.

I feel like every single person I see driving these days is on their phone, like everyone is looking at their damn laps while they're driving.

I've seen too many reels of dash cam videos showing people's crazy driving and it's insane.
