Whenever a man says kids are a must for him all I can think is "What an easy thing for you to want someone else to sacrifice for you." The man-hatey side of me doesn't think men should really get a say at all because it literally requires nothing from them but desire.

I mean, I made a comment above that I had an ex resent me for 8 years for not wanting kids when I told him in the first three months. I think it's precious that y'all assume that it never came up and she wasn't honest about it. "They should have talked about it." No shit? They probably did and he probably assumed Big Dick Richie would eventually get the job done once he had her and could wear her down.

I mean she gave an interview early on saying she did want more kids so idk. I just don’t think there’s a villain here tbh. They grew apart and realized they wan different things. Divorce is the healthiest thing they can do.

That Part. And based on the company Joe keeps (i.e. Manson) I wouldn't be shocked if he used having a child as a way to control her. Then when that didn't work smear her to the press by implying she 180ed him on having children.

There is no doubt in my mind she told him no and he took that as "convince me."

My guess is we're going to hear about him having issues respecting women's autonomy in these up coming years.

I had a guy tell me he didn't want kids because he had just been dumped after 9 years and wanted me to br his fall back plan to cushion his ego while he looked for a girl 9 years younger than his ex who dumped him so he could start from scratch. He ghosted me the second that happened.

a couple of weeks ago, i saw a video of an interview Jackson Wang was doing where he mentioned he would like to have kids in the future, but that the final decision would come to his wife. The interviewer was pretty much unable to comprehend this thought and kept asking if wouldn't he prefer finding a woman who would want kids.

Especially at his age! If it were a 47 year old woman trying to have kids, she’d be getting shit and cautioned about the risks, but because he’s a dude, we’re supposed to feel sorry for him and find it understandable when he fucks off to get a younger model. I've heard before stories about women who wanted kids but the husband didn't want them, so they please the husband and they both get older, then when the woman hits menopause the man divorces her and gets with a much younger woman because suddenly the moment he can't have kids happens, he suddenly wants them, and unlike women, he can still have them (via a younger woman).
