idk if this was 'outrage' but I feel like people were really ott about Tom Hiddleston when his biggest blunder was just being cringe/tonedeaf. in hindsight it taught him to lead a more low-key (pls laugh) lifestyle which is probably more beneficial for his overall mental health. just sucks that his career took a little dive when serial offenders see little to no impact concerning their reputation/ability to thrive in hollywood

Similar thing with Anne Hathaway tbh. Their biggest crime is being a little too overeager, giving those theatre kid vibes, which sure are annoying but when there are so many worse people out there it's like... ok.

Yeah, all in all I think Tom Hiddleston is a good guy with some flaws.
There shouldn’t have any outrage as such, only pointing and laughing, and face-palming at the cringeness

I feel like the same could be said about Benedict Cumberbatch. he's said some slightly dumb stuff and he is uglier than women are allowed to be while still be considered heartthrobs, but I feel like most of his annoyingness back in the day was because his fans were really, really intense. he doesn't seem like an awful person.

and Hiddlestans are similar

it really sad he doesn't seem to do much work outside of loki anymore. I know he just had a baby but he's only got two things coming up and i've never heard of them before. he rly deserves a career over the many creeps in hollywood that consistently work.

Just here to say I agree and that I did, in fact, laugh at low-key.
