Alicia Silverstone gives a tour of her sustainable backyard where she grows avocados, figs, persimmons, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, kumquats, native plants, and succulents. She bought this house when she was 19 years old. The house's wooden facade, which is made from a reclaimed barn, caused a five year war with local woodpeckers (the solution was putting mesh on top of the wood).
source ETA: I am out of the Alicia Silverstone loop so I just learned that she's an antivaxxer thanks to the comments. I guess let's make this a gardening post instead? If you don't have a garden, what fruit would you plant if you had space?
