1. Vermont

2. Maine

3. New Jersey

4. Minnesota

5. Hawaii

6. Oregon

7. Washington

8. Colorado

8. Massachusetts (it was a tie)

lol money has nothing to do with it. texas has the second highest GDP per capita of any state in the country (behind CA) and FL is in the top 5 but they're on the worst place to live ranking in this post
