rao's sauce is good but whoever is in charge of marketing really got them popular in the last few years. i feel like outta nowhere it was always the sauce brand chefs cite theyd keep at home/use as the premade sauce for some recipes. and then see it at every grocery store now.

I only know of it from going Keto a few years ago. They are hella expensive but the lowest carb count in virtually every sauce and really good

They hit it with catering to special dietary needs. I first heard about Rao's due to their tomato sauce with no onions or garlic.

I hated the texture of onions until I was in college. I liked the taste though so I would drive my family crazy by ordering onion rings at Burger King, pulling out the soft slimy onion in the middle, and eating just the onion flavored breading. When my mom made pasta sauce, I always asked her to cut the onions into HUGE chunks so that I could fish them out and avoid accidentally putting them in my mouth. Even though I love onions now, I really appreciate that Rao's makes a sauce without any onions or garlic.

Seriously. I only noticed the brand because they're the most taken pasta sauce in the aisle.
