I was excited for Amy Sedaris in Theater Camp but apparently she’s barely in it??

Guess I’ll see Bird Box then

I've been looking forward to Black Ice for a while - if I don't see it in theatres I will pay cash money to rent it online.

Lakota Nation Vs United States looks good - I will pay to support it however I see it

Seeing Mission Impossible 7 tomorrow (and Barbie next Friday.)

ooh black ice intrigues me

i had a long train ride today, so i ended up watching love & friendship, the 2016 adaptation of jane austen’s lady susan novella which i’d somehow never seen before. it was fun! morfydd clark is in it and i wondered if it was one of her first movie. turns out 2014 was actually her breakout year and she was even in a second austen adaptation in 2016: the totally bonkers pride and prejudice and zombies, in which she was georgiana darcy.

Theater Camp feels around 12 years late.

I never got around to watching Afire when it was released here in Germany but I highly recommend Christian Petzold's other films Barbara (with Nina Hoss) and especially Transit (with Paula Beer and Franz Rogowski)!

Barbara and Transit are brilliant and both stuck with me for ages after, I wasn't as much a fan of Phoenix. I like that Afire seems to be lighter in subject matter, he just seems to understand the human condition and the subtleties of showing how people feel.
