Do these morons even know who they're ransoming? AO3 people are not Bitcoin Bros, lmao. Even if there are some overlap, it's definitely not enough that they'd have $30,000 Bitcoin; that's equivalent to USD$917,322,460.50! Unless they mean to demand USD$30,000's worth of Bitcoin?

But even then, AO3 is non-profit. If they had that type of money there'd be under all sorts of legal problems so it's not like they can pay the ransom even if they want to.
