I agree, I don’t get why it’s such a topic of conversation. It was going to be made so many times over the years in many different cultural climates.

And for everyone wagging their finger at the old concept, in a few years people may look back negatively on this version.

Other than anything Barbie giving them clicks, often when movies change hands the moves are kinda lateral. This OTOH is a HUGE contrast. From a potential all-time dumpster fire to one of the most hyped films of 2023. It's like going from a kid's finger painting to Van Gogh, or from Taylor Swift's songwriting to Mariah's.

No fr, I don't like Amy and this isn't me defending her or her humour, but how are people not seeing why this keeps getting brought up over and over? They don't care what it would've been about, they wanna point and laugh at her.
