Seriously, I got feedback last year that boiled down to people complaining I didn't socialize with the rest of the team. The subsequent discussion and follow up e-mails with my then manager unsettled him and his own manager so much that I got a personal call, with reassurances that I was in the clear, from someone three levels above me.

In college I worked in a clothing store and would party with my coworkers all the time. I started getting more serious with my boyfriend at the time and stopped going out to bars and clubs and preferred to stay in with him and his roommates/my friends and smoke and play Mario Party. Well my coworkers were absolutely offended by this and the manager was basically trying to fire me. She was some rachet girl younger than me so she’d get in my face and scream at me and shit. This traumatized me to the point I don’t try and make friends at work anymore
