The Lure has been my favorite track so far! Love how 80s and somewhat gothic/vampy it was when Tedros arrives at her house for the first time.

Everyone keeps saying that Tedros “won” in the end but lol no he didn’t cause Jocelyn is a mastermind villain and got him under her control in a way. The part I didn’t see the point of was her announcing it at the concert but I guess it’s part of her manipulation and narrative?

I think the first episode was the best episode cause it had structure I guess. But the subsequent episodes meanders and was a bit of a chore.

I didn’t think Abel’s acting was all that bad but very much his style lol. Lily-Rose I was actually impressed with cause I had seen her in another movie (Voyagers-which was basically lord of the flies but in space) and she wasn’t noteworthy there. But here she’s pretty good.

The show could’ve been better had they actually leaned into a psychological drama early on.

i agree with you about tedros "winning," i just think if they wanted to be subtle about jocelyn's "evil" they needed to spread it out a bit more during the series. it felt very shoehorned in to the second half of the finale, though i guess they did lay the groundwork with the scene where troye's character gets shocked. but yeah, levinson is very much like ryan murphy in that he doesn't know how to stick the landing after getting off to a decent start.

I agree that this show lacked a lot and was seriously disturbing at times, but the music was fire. My favorite was definitely The Lure because it reminded me so much of Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd, which is one of my all times faves by them. Also a big fan of that dark 80s vibe. Someone said some of the guitar riffs in the show/music reminded them of early episodes of the original Beverly Hills 90210 and I totally agree; cheesy but super good.

I LOVED all the Jocelyn songs and can't understand WHY the Weekday insterted his ANNOYING ass voice in the released studio versions.....his character is not an artist I the show we don't need this Weekdayified versions!!!!

Also love that the took what was a Britney-inspired drama about a woman's experience in the industry (in Version 1, where I believe Britney herself consulted in that meeting in 2021) into.... a retooled Basic Instinct/Gone Girl inspired Selena Gomez hit piece lol
