Mack was accused of recruiting young women as "slaves" for the cult NXIVM, led by Keith Raniere.
When arrested in 2018, Mack initially faced charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy and faced up to 17 years in prison. She got a shortened sentence after pleading guilty to racketeering and providing evidence to prosecutors about Raniere.
