The Jonas Brother's 7th album was released this past May, and sold 52,000 albums, with 35,500 of them being pure physical sales. Kelly Clarkson's tenth studio album, Chemistry, debuted this week with 53,300 albums sold, with 43,000 pure sales. As such, despite the lyrics from the boys earlier album "everybody bought our 7th album, it had outsold Kelly Clarkson," the boys 7th album in fact DID NOT outsell Kelly Clarkson.
