It's the end of June which means for most people, school's out! While your OP hasn't been in an educational institution in over a decade, I still think it's fun to get into the summer mood with some end of school year hijinks on film. Let's start!

Can't Hardly Wait

It's graduation day and Huntington Hillside High's most popular student Amanda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) has just been dumped by her jock boyfriend (Peter Facinelli). Preston (Ethan Embry), who has been crushing on Amanda since the beginning of high school, thinks fate has given him the chance to finally declare his love for Amanda. Preston decides he'll tell Amanda his feelings at the huge bash their classmate is throwing. Plenty of other fun b plots happen and hijinks ensue.

On the last day of school, best friends Evan and Seth try to score booze for a party while also dealing with the changing dynamics of their friendship. Surprisingly heartfelt and forever famous for giving us "McLovin."

Set in 1993, Aubrey Plaza stars as overachiever Brandy Clark. After getting drunk at a graduation party and experiencing horniness for the first time, Brandy realizes she isn't as sexually experienced as her peers. Worried that she'll enter university without sexual know how, Brandy develops a plan to have a variety of sexual experiences over the summer culminating in losing her virginity to local hottie, Rusty Waters (Scott Porter aka Jason Street from Friday Night Lights). This is a hilarious sex positive movie and Bill Hader's role as the stoner pool manager is greatly under appreciated.

While this film technically chronicles an entire school year it has several classic scenes and is known for launching the careers of several Hollywood stars

Special mention: Rock n' Roll High School

This isn't really an end of school movie but it has all the sex, drugs, and shenanigans you'd expect from a movie starring the Ramones. Set in 1980, this b movie stars PJ Soles (the best friend/sidekick character from Carrie and Halloween) as Riff Randell. Riff is a terrible student whose disciplinary record takes up an entire filing cabinet. She is desperate to meet The Ramones and give them a song she wrote (titled Rock n' Roll High School, obvs) but when the school principal rips up her ticket, she must devise another way to meet the band.
