June 23, 2023 This past Friday, the one true American Idol released her long-anticipated new album, Chemistry.
According to Clarkson, Chemistry illustrates "the arc of an entire relationship", showing every emotion you experience from the beginning to the end. "A whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing. So there's the good, the bad, the ugly thing kinda going on in it."
If you haven't listened to the full album yet, here are some personal highlights (not including the early releases/singles):

OP Note: My introduction to this album began
2 months ago. After hearing the new songs first live (for which I am so thankful!) and now recorded, obsessing over each song released piece by piece and now from start to finish as intended, I feel even stronger that this will breakaway as her overall best album (and a personal favorite alongside My December, which is really all i ever wanted). Even if the days of commercial success are behind us, the real meaning of life for me is the music. Having made it through the end of an 11 year relationship recently, this album really speaks to me and the lyrics are almost too real. There's something for every mood, I looooooove it. <3
