they ended up not doing the IVF. they started the process on the show but then she said it was taking too much of a toll on her so they stopped and started trying naturally

It depends on the cycle. Looks like the egg she released was of quality high enough for her to get pregnant. Since she's a Kardashian, she probably had the fetus tested for any genetic abnormalities, and was happy with the result. Otherwise, I very much doubt she'd choose to carry the child to term.
It's a geriatric pregnacy, she's not as fertile as she was 10 years ago. But somehow she managed to give herself a boost.
But to be fair, these are very old episodes, so they might've changed their mind? If they didn't, and still managed to get pregnant, then more the power to them. My sister went through IVF and it was hell, so fingers crossed for the v-cleansing rituals or whatever Kourt engaged in!

I feel like Kourtney probably enjoys the experience of pregnancy and childbirth and as obsessed her and Travis seem to be together is expected her to want to physically carry HIS baby
