Like, everyone grieves differently and I totally get that. It's not my thing but I get it. But posting about it? With that caption?

Somehow I'm guessing no one in that sub thought boy I hope that dude is having fun at the blink182 concert, that's the inner peace thought I needed. But I've never been a billionaire stuck in the ocean.

They can go to eternal resting knowing everything is going to be okay.

When I was living in a different country and my mother fell ill (and by that I mean given only a few days left to live) I went to a concert. My flight home was scheduled for the next day and there was nothing I could do so it was either sit at home, do nothing, stress, and get upset, or give myself something to do for a couple of hours.

I have no idea what the relationship between this stepson and the stepfather is but different people deal with different things in different ways.

how do you do that? no judgement, i'm curious.
i wouldn't be able to enjoy anything knowing my mother is dying.

I never said I enjoyed it. I don't actually remember a single thing from the show but it beat sitting in my apartment, literally 6,000 miles away from home, and crying. I don't cope well in situations where I can't do anything and having something to do helped me get through that evening.

i think the major issue is posting about it and acknowledging within the post that “his family would be supportive of him” being at the show. it sounds like he’s a piece of shit so yeah maybe not the best support system for, say, his mom who must be devastated her husband is currently missing. maybe she doesn’t want him around but maybe that means he shouldn’t be soliciting empathy to begin with.

idk we all grieve differently but this guy just sounds like he suuuuuucks.

Yes, dude you're supposed to be my your mom side
Either because she's truly sad or because y'all both expect a check and need to pretend a little
Either way, nagl

People deal with trauma and pain differently for sure, but maybe don't advertise it

OT: That Johnathan Major case took a turn I did not expect
I'm still highly uncomfortable ith him for various reasons, but wow

What happened with Major's case?

huge amount of evidence in his favor (some could be bought, but there's pictures, recordings, and video)
They expect the case to be dropped

I'm still on the fence for other things around him, but this doesn't look good

Where did you hear that? I can't find anything.

Maybe it’s going to be really cathartic for him to cry while singing along to “will you come home and stop this pain tonight, stop this pain tonight”
