I’ve only seen a bit of SE7EN, but knowing it’s like that game is enough to keep me far away from it.

I don't but I'll be Googling it to find out.

I think it's great if you're into the genre, not something I'd pull out at parties

I watched it a couple months ago after not having seen it for years and it doesn’t really hold up. There are so many trash men in it I kept getting pulled out of it.

I think it's worth seeing. It's interesting to see how Fincher's style evolved since then, and Se7en inspired a lot of movies, both thematically and visually. I only saw it recently. My husband was waiting to see how I reacted to the supposed plot twist. I thought it was obvious. He was horrified that I figured it out far ahead of the reveal. I guess I have the mind of a serial killer.

It's a great ending that makes a lot of narrative sense but Idk if I'd call it satisfying. You must really hate [Spoiler (click to open)]Goop lol

You may have watched a recent adaptation of it, "The Batman."

It doesn't beat the original though. At this point, any movie or TV show that features one or two weary officers chaising a very disturbing serial killer in a sordid, peculiar setting has been inspired by Se7en.

I haven't seen that yet, either!

Se7en does sound interesting.

The Batman is very slow. The last act kind of drags but while I enjoyed it, a lot of people I know did not. I like moody, dark, slow movies.

It's one of the best thrillers in history of cinema.
