Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge said Monday morning that they have acquired the Golden Globes’ assets, rights and properties from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
So, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) will shutter, years after saying "Oh look we're diverse-ish now"
The Golden Globes has a 2024 date set, Jan 7th, but no broadcast partner.
DCP and its partners will plan, host and produce the annual Golden Globe Awards show and will pursue commercial opportunities for the Golden Globes globally. Give out the awards? Who knows, girl.
