lol i was recently accused of being an ozempic hoe (tho saxenda is the trendy one we’re I live)

but in reality is that i’ve been on phentermine since mid march and it has helped me drop more than 20 pounds- which is great because I am overweight with serious thyroid problems.
the thing is that i had to ask my doctor not to put me on any drug meant for people with diabetes- because I am not one- and that alone is concerning enough that even medical dieticians are prescribing these to their patients without running tests (because let’s be real fatphobia is a thing in every fucking medical field, specially towards women)

I can’t wait to be off of it because honestly i cannot stand the mouth dryness and lack of sleep anymore

My psychiatrist gave me Topamax for a short amount of time and you're right, the dry mouth is such an annoyance.

So you went on a medicwtion that is shown to be harmful for your heart instead?

Diabetic medications have been used off label for years.

Ozempic is also fine for weight loss. It’s just marketed as Wegovy but in higher doses.

I wish more people realized how dangerous phentermine is. Both of my sisters tried it to get off babyweight and experienced issues with their hearts for about a year after going OFF it.
