I know people in Hollywood are desperate to be skinny but I don’t know how they deal with this drug; I tried similar and it made me so sick.

I think even with diabetic patients it is going to fall out of use because it is just too harsh on the system. Hopefully it’ll just be a stepping stone for them to find something better.

i think, just like everything else, some people can tolerate and some people cannot. i'm on a compounded version of semaglutide -- not name brand ozempic --i'm currently up to 175 and i haven't gotten really nauseous yet. there was one week at around 100 when i did, but still never threw up. the only thing i hate is that it makes me tired the first day or two after my injection. and i hate how much it costs.

You're so lucky. Even with the smallest dose of .25 I was severely sick.

i'm so sorry to hear that. there's a possibility mine is compounded with something that helps with nausea? i also take it with b-12. supposedly that helps with the nausea too.

I'll ask my doctor about it, thank you for the information.

I was the same, like just so sick right from the beginning. The drug was not for me.

Unfortunately I don't have many other options at the moment. The doctor would like for me to stay on it for 1 year, but I think once things improve I will push to stop.

I know that I'm traveling next week and I'm skipping my weekly dose because I can't imagine being that sick on a plane.

That is true but I also think some people who cannot tolerate it are still taking it for the weight loss and I worry about that.

I got sick on a very low dose but I already have a lot of stomach issues so I try to warn anyone with my health issues it may not be for them. It was so bad for me that I did not think I could survive taking the drug long term and my doctor took me off it right away.

I still think it is a very harsh drug either way and needs to be used with extreme caution. And for my sake I hope they can find something that doesn’t wreck my system.

That is so sad if true, but I guess not surprising considering some people take actual laxatives for weight loss 😭 Nooo whyyy
