Noooooo if you have any sort of stomach issues stay away because it’ll make things so much worse. Like needing to go to the ER worse.

Mine is currently wrecked from having to take high dose prednisone plus antibiotics and sleeping tablets. I dread eating anything at the moment because it's so painful. Protect your insides, people!

get them probiotics and natural yoghurt into you girl. Prednisone induced gastritis is so fucked, I've resorted to taking oxycodone for the pain before

You can also get constipation. So be aware of that.

I’m on ozempic for PCOS and insulin resistance and I am the most constipated I have ever been in my entire life. It’s absolutely awful

use miralax or a fiber supplement, friend lol. clear that shit out. and if you're able to, add more veg to your diet.

Yeah I take magenesium, a fiber supplement and drink lots of water and eat veggies- it’s just rough!

I just started miralax so hoping that helps

ive rly liked the love wellness sparkle fiber or whatever that they carry at ulta. pretty sure you can probably find a cheaper alt but they’ll take coupons on it and it’s a mix of chia seed, psyllium husk and some other high fiber stuff. it’s the only one that feels “normal” and not like it either a) isn’t working or b) i just ate a ton of chipotle

I am on it for PCOS/insulin resistance too and having upped my dosage I am more constipated than ever. Which is... never. I usually am not constipated! Chugging water doesn't seem to be helping, but I'm waiting for my next pay to buy some fiber heavy groceries and supplements.

the GI side effects are still better than the metformin side effects were for me!

I’ve been on metformin for a decade and dont experience any side effects besides occasional diarrhea. Now I’m on both ozempic and metformin and I haven’t pooped in three weeks 🫠

metformin did the opposite to me! the combination made it way worse, but everything was fine when i stopped the metformin. have you had any other issues while taking both? my doc told me to stop taking metformin b/c the wegovy/saxenda would treat my pcos and taking both might make my blood sugar too low 😬
