- NBC News (@NBCNews) June 8, 2023

- Pat Robertson was a major figure in right-wing evangelical derangement in the late 20th and early 21st century. He founded the Christian Coalition and CBN, now Freeform, which is obligated to broadcast hours of CBN/700 Club content every day.

- He was allegedly the ally of more than one dictator, most notably Charles Taylor, who - during his trial at the Hague for crimes against humanity - alleged that Robertson spoke to Dubya on his behalf in exchange for gold mining rights.

- He liked to blame gays, lesbians, feminists, religious minorities, etc. for hurricanes, earthquakes, and 9/11. He also wrote an Antisemitic conspiracy theory book titled The New World Order. He actively made the world a worse place.
