This is heartbreaking, I hope she beats it again and beats it so well that the cancer fucks off forever.

I learned recently that my dad has lung cancer and he'll be getting a biopsy tomorrow to find out the stage or if the cancer is aggressive or not. I don't know what exactly. But after the biopsy results, he'll get chemotherapy depending on the results. Like, he'll get chemotherapy for sure (according to many doctors we went to), they're just trying to find the best treatment for him. He could be stage 2 but I'm not sure.

My father-in-law had Stage 4 lung cancer for years. His original prognosis, I never should have been able to meet him. But he lived 5 more good years.

What I'm saying is don't lose hope. If he's got a lower stage, he has a very good chance of being around a long time still :)

I truly hope so. My best friend said the same thing. It could be stage 1 and can progress quickly or stage 4 and hold on for quite some time with ease.

I wish him the best. From what I gathered with my mom’s at the time a big part of it is whether it’s small cell or non small cell. You’re basically hoping it is non small cell.

Sending your dad lots of love! I was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, had my 2 1/2 year check-up yesterday and it went fine :) Hope this is how it will go for your dad as well 💞
