I just want to say the dog breed allergy thing is kinda bs they just don't shed as much but aren't actually hypoallergenic but...
Also adopt don't shop. He could have called up a cavapoo rescue.

yeah idk what a cavapoo is but if it's some poodle mix then I can attest to the fact that they don't shed at all

iirc, poodle designer mixes are usually sold in the second gen. after the initial cross between a poodle and another breed, it’s bred with a poodle, so it’s only 25% whatever the other dog is

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the breed that if people bothered to Google for five minutes wouldn't adopt without having the seller produce medical records for the offspring and its parents. I don't care if it's only half that breed, after seeing footage of one of those poor little guys suffering from CM/SM there's no way I'd give a single dime without lots of proof that breeder did their due diligence.

It's not the breed per se. Poodles do not have fur. So less allergies

Yeah, Yorkies are the same (and Havanese and Maltese, I think, but not 100% sure): hair not fur.

Which is to say, 1 hair per follicle, rather than the usual 2-5 most dogs have, in case anyone is wondering.
