Right?! I’m glad she’s getting support now and not 10-15 years down the road like Britney for example and I understand that people were probably fearful they’d be attacked too but they basically just waited until it was safe to show support instead of actively pushing back against the vitriol while it was happening.

Yeah I don't like to nitpick but like a little vocal support would've been nice during the worse of it.

I mean a few celebs spoke out for her during that time and they're still alive and working. Plus most of these feminists have dealt with the fire of backlash before....ladies not the first time at the rodeo lol!

This... I'm also having some sort of PTSD these days, seeing how people are coming for Shelby and the other Lindemann/Rammstein accusers, whipping out the same cruel "logic", pseudo-arguments and hatred they developed for Amber. Clearly, the public has not learned a single fucking thing.

Yeah I know even when people were apologize about Britney Spears's treatment and everything, it didn't take for them to just do another female celeb in the media lol.

this!! great, i guess, but it would've been more helpful to her during the trial.

I think in this case it's a direct response over Depp being received at Cannes.

While I agree with you as in more people should have supported her during the trial, this is nonetheless very brave, important and helpful because it is still not mainstream to support Amber, and the fact people from the French industry are having Amber's back while Hollywood feminists have mostly remained SILENT even when directly asked about her and DvH is something worth discussing.

Came in here to ask this. This is nice, but this would've landed a lot harder during the actual trial.
