Well before Shameless there was a woman that found 3 roommates off Craigslist. They were annoyed by her in the initial interview but decided that cause she had a best friend that’s a model they would give her a chance.

She proceeded to destroy a quality tv show for 7 seasons. Especially when they have her her own theme song.

debbie had the most realistic arc imo (innocent child from broken home becoming pregnant at 15)

was she annoying? yeah. but the neck beards do the most with her.

The most unrealistic arc was when DCFS busted Fiona with coke and Liam ingested it.

It was a wrap after that CS will take kids away from their families for less.

I think the Debbie hate is because she was herself and stayed true to being exactly like frank. And not giving a single fuck

but those first 5 or so seasons are everything to me, prob bc i feel like i grew up with them (fiona/lip)

I JUST started watching this show lmao. Hard agree. The roommates are generally pretty hilarious and are all great comedic actors, so I've been powering through just because I enjoy them, but Jess is the worst.
