I'm too lazy to write a comment about this, so I've asked Chat GPT to write it for me:

That's quite an interesting revelation! It seems that Lula, the president of Brazil, is a Taylor Swift fan. It's amusing to see how his tweet from 2018, where he expressed his desire to bring Taylor to Brazil if he won re-election, has now resurfaced after Taylor announced her Latin American tour dates, including Rio De Janeiro and São Paulo. It's always fun when political figures show their lighter side and share their love for music. It will be exciting to see if Lula gets a chance to meet Taylor during her visit to Brazil in November.

Is Swift popular in Latin America??? I know people are making it that she's the biggest star in the "world" over Bey but noone outside of English speaking countries really follow her far as I know. I know my cousins in Asia know Bey but never listened to Swift.

I know you're joking but these kind of comments always make me uncomfortable because we're a continental country as big as USA with a lot of internet consumption, we're as connected to pop culture as your regular north american. so, obviously, we would end up having people caring about anything that might have a little projection.

Sorry, I didn't mean it in a cruel way. I'm sorry if it was insensitive. Yes, I was referencing the 'come to Brazil' joke but also Brazil being a huge country with all kinds of people and that any performer is bound to find an audience, just like in the US. So both joking and serious.

I just saw that Sabrina Carpenter is supporting her on this Latin American leg...Taylor really feels some sort of way about Olivia Rodrigo, doesn't she? 🤣

Ding, ding, ding. Exactly, if she's trying to compete with her, it's just insecurity, so she's really here to do the most. It's just Queen Bee Syndrome and social aggression by trying to gang up on her and have her own allies/cliques. Olivia is just doing her. It's just embarrassing to feel so threatened by someone who is younger and up-and-coming, but then again, Olivia is vocally talented...

YUP. Olivia is truly vocally talented and that’s something Taylor can’t compete with.

The competition to buy ticket has been insane. She is one the most listened international artists in the country
