-It is the end of the road again for Supernatural and Jensen Ackles.
-His prequel series 'Winchesters' has failed to find a home after TheCW canceled the freshman series.
-The show did technically do good in CW numbers and fan engagement but with TheCW no longer interested in being a full time scripted network to properties it does not own (now that WB/CBS only own minority stakes in CW).
-The on-going writers strike may have also put another curse on the show as the actors contract options would need to be picked up and paid and there's no telling when scripted tv will commence again.
-With Winchesters gone and Big Sky also canceled, it leaves Jensen without a full time tv gig behind and infront of the camera.
