The way so many people showed their asses during Covid is incredible. I broke off contact with someone who traveled from her city in Austria to where I live to attend a rally against Covid measures by the government, a rally that was spearheaded by neo nazis. That was the point where I couldn't excuse her shenanigans anymore and blocked her everywhere.

2 of my team got COVID right after the event, they were ultimately ok but it was so frustrating esp since there’s no way of knowing who they infected, and I feel your pain my sister who lost her father in law to COVID traveled (with her kids) at the height of it to visit my severely immuno compromised mother, because “what if she dies before I see her” not bothering to consider what if she dies because you saw her!

Oh shit :( I don't know why people are so reckless... there was so much illogical stuff going on during the pandemic and I've seen some people show a side to them that I hadn't imagined they'd show me...

It's called blanket training. You put a baby (starting at ~6 months) on a blanket. You put a toy or something they want near the blanket, and when the baby tries to leave the blanket to grab the toy without permission, they get hit. It's to "break their will" and teach them absolute obedience as early as possible.

It's also probably the reason why all the Duggar children and the other Quiverfull kids on TLC had completely dead eyes.
