he was on one of the most lucrative shows HBO has ever had, he could probably charge MORE TBH

I found the other prices, and Emilia charges $5-10 more than Kit. I wonder what the negotiations are like for this.

Really? I’d say he would easily be worth more.

GOT was massive internationally, he's so much more recognizable as Jon Snow than Hailee as anything

having worked for a convention, some celebs have wild ideas of their self worth. you can also blame the walking dead for the insane prices. they started charging crazy prices and everyone else upped theirs to prove they were bigger stars. they all set their own price and pocket every penny, nothing goes to the convention so you can really tell how important a celeb thinks they are based on their pricing.

Nope, they keep it all. Cons only makes money on ticket sales and table fees for vendors. People will blame cons for a lot of the shit the celebs do.

Usually tens of thousands per weekend if you are a decent name, on a big show, or in a big movie. Some actors even have guarantees, so if they don't sign enough autographs to hit their guarantee, the convention needs to pay the difference. This was many years ago but as an example, Charlie Hunnam's guarantee was $100,000 a DAY. He was willing to show up for one day only, not the whole convention, and had to make at least $100k in that day. They also get first class flights for them and guest, accommodations, travel, food, all paid for. There are certainly people who are charging $25 and no one is paying and they don't make a ton, but they still get travel and accommodations, and pocket all the cash. But that is truly only real nobodies, like someone who played a Walking Dead zombie without a name, or a totally forgotten person from the 60s. Generally, it's good money for even D-listers.

Someone on one of the bboards I used to go to would lecture people complaining about the autograph prices & say that how some of these people earn enough to live one, since most don't really act or anything.
I understand that, but we still can complain about it. Especially since, for some people, they may only get to one con in their lives & have to decide what to spend their money on.

I used to work for the agent of someone who was in Doctor Who (like major role) and they'd easily get £50k guarantee for a weekend at the bigger conventions and first/business class flights and top accommodation. They'd try to do as many as their work schedule would allow (which I would too!).

I just had flashbacks to the previous SPN convention photo-op prices. Those were crazy high even back then. Especially Jensen and Jared.
