A new trailer for Marvel Studios' 'SECRET INVASION' has been released. The Disney Plus series premieres on June 21st.

Yeah, I've also been pretty much on an "eh, I'll get around to it" mindset with the MCU after the first couple of post-Endgame series - once we get closer to Nova and the FF I'll probably perk up again - but this and The Marvels pique my interest more than most other recent trailers.

I'm fond of Emilia Clarke and I'm interested how they'll adapt this storyline with the Skrulls introduced first as a friendly/allied race versus how they've historically been mostly opponents of the FF/Avengers/etc in the comics, bar a few individuals who eventually became at least somewhat aligned with the FF, Nova, Runaways***, etc.

Plus, they managed to pull off this kind of superhero/thriller thing really well with The Winter Soldier so I'm hoping they bring back some of that energy here.

***They really adapted Runaways too early, no mutants or Skrulls... I kinda want them redone in the MCU just for Xavin's sake tbh. Keep the cast, just let them use the actual storyline and de-emphasize the parents. Nico's dad was really hot in the adaptation but even that doesn't make it feel right lol. Also like, they need to be able to interact with other Marvel properties, you know?
