“I have no information on this,” Portman said when a fan floated the idea of her coming back to the franchise. “No one’s ever asked me to return, but I’m open to it.”
Not the most shining indictment, but I'll take it. She played Queen/Senator Padme Amidala Naberrie-Skywalker of Naboo.
The other 2, male, members of the PT trio have returned in "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and "Something Else I don't Know". Even though they died. So there is precedent for her to return!

Padme is my favorite SW character so I'm glad to hear she'd be open to returning.
