Charli comes clean with her fans on where her and Marina stand. She says that they’re not friends but there’s no drama either, although she did feel some type of way when Marina sub tweeted her publicly instead of texting her privately to try to see what the issue was.
What Charli refers to is an incident during Marina’s 2015 FROOT album. Charli was promoting a fragrance called impulse, accompanied by a photo shoot made by the same photographer of said album. To which Marina said that both shoots looked similar, continuing that images are also artistic property and implying Charli lifted majorly from Marina’s themes for her work.
