That said I do like Paper Doll which was apparently his rebuttal to her song. I have never listened to hers.

John’s disgusting so he deserves it, but otherwise I find most of her lyrics about relationships aren’t that bad and the drama over it is overblown as far as the lyrics themselves. Obviously she’s a drama queen who encourages people to guess what the songs are about.

I don't necessarily mean the songs are bad but the blowback that all the men get from her fans and the press is more what I mean.

Like they're literally waiting for it, I think someone was saying the Kennedy boy was warned off by her family for 'what she'll write about you after' or something.

I remember Michael J fox making a joke about how he didn't want his son to date her because he didn't want her to write songs about him and he had to publicly apologize. That was during that weird era where she was untouchable. No one was allowed to make jokes about her or they'd "have a special place in hell."

He just commented afterwards that he wouldn't want him to date her. Her fans went after him and it was vile. Some were making fun of his Parkinson's disease. He ended up apologising to her privately and she tweeted that they were all good but thanked her fans for having her back. Truly pathetic.
