-The Little Mermaid composer gives an explanation into why they cut Daughters of Triton from the live action film.
-In the animated film it introduces us to the mermaids and Ariels sister.
-For the live action film they decided to nix the song as they wanted to have the film lead up to Ariel singing Part of Your World, believing that it being the first song of the film makes the moment more powerful.
