He had a side (but important) role in both seasons of Perry Mason, a smaller part in Succession, and other stuff like Roar for AppleTV+. He's such a good actor. I wonder if his sort of character actor career is based on choice or industry standards. Hopefully it's the former. That said, there are a few headlines out today about how he doesn't really think Weeds needs a comeback and how he probably wouldn't be interesting in returning, so we'll see.

I've always appreciated how outspoken he is about his work. Like when he was telling people not to watch his vet show. That even he thought it was awful. After that I didn't feel guilty quitting it after the second episode lol

Yeah he and Roman have HOT chemistry on Mencken --

"there's a very naughty boy whose name starts with H." Ahh Fascism wordplay.

Roman kills in these bathroom meetings while sucking in formal meetings. And Mencken says "people are attracted to thkse who look like them" while he and Roman are literally mirroring each other with clothing and style/body language.

And Roman continues to have a HUGE thing for bathrooms (Mencken and bathrooms, jerking off to Gerri in her bathroom, watching the Swede pee on his phone in a bathroom.

The memory of how they put a fake mustache on what was essentially a child (Shane) for the time jump at the end - it's seared into my brain, in a bad way.
