The creation of Misty's dream musical, the collision of the past and present worlds and a Wilderness beating. The cast and creators break down Episode 7, Burial. New episodes stream every Friday on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
The producers have confirmed they have a 5 season plan for Yellowjackets! And with the continued hype, I don't think Showtime is going to cancel on them early =fingers crossed=!
S2 has been weird time wise, I didn't realize it's only been a week since the S1 finale as of 2x07. I imagine spring/summer is going to move really quickly next season and the lead up to winter 2 will go syrup-y slow again.
Yeah, I could definitely see them doing the past timeline in 3 seasons tops, but I really have no idea where they are headed in the present timeline. The cop story line is pretty weak, but Wilderness Cult 2: The Sequel has a lot of potential.
Hopefully, we are getting a lot of character driven story lines as the lead up to an unhinged S3! We've gotten a lot of trauma background, character motivations, and the severing of ties to the outside world for the adult survivors. And winter just started.
Yeah, I am also wondering if they have 5 seasons worth of material. At first I felt relief when hearing they had it all planned out, but I’m hoping that they just want a slow buildup because some episodes pass by without much revealed. I will say the most recent ones have been better.
Yeah! I’m hoping that the last few episodes bring the quality back to season 1 because I think it’s been drifting a little. And I really hope the adult Shauna storyline wraps up this year.
The cop storyline especially. Like that to me is dragging the most, even though it would have completely unrealistic if Shauna got away with it and it was never mentioned again. I wasn’t feeling the Nat and Lottie story but now that the others have arrived it should get interested.
I agree - it feels like they're trying to be camp out of nowhere and for me it doesn't fit with the rest of the show. I thought the misty scene was so weird lol and that's something I would normally love.
it's starting to feel like Lost... lots of doors being opened too quickly.
