In the fairy tale, they even find her on land and try to convince her to kill the prince to take back Ursula's curse (it's wayyyy darker and they def won't go there in this) but I do hope they have some kind of scene similar where maybe they find her on land and try to convince her to come home. I would LOVE it if there's maybe one sister who Ariel is closest to who actually supports her dreams, but I didn't write the movie lol

RIGHT? I can begrudgingly understand cutting Les Poissons but Daughters of Triton??? That sequence is there to sort of highlight the fact that Ariel wants something more than the rest of her family, and it's another fun song!

I kinda wanted Sasha Baron Cohen for that (he was fav part of Sweeney).
